Have you ever seen something and thought “I should be able to make that!” Is sewing something you would like to aspire to? Well, ladies, how about making a tote bag?
I am a self taught sewer and aspire to making quilts one day, but for now, I am making bags for a registered charity called “Escabags” which provides emergency provisions for those who have escaped domestic violence.
Believe me, these bags are easy to make and, who knows, perhaps you might gain a love of sewing?
I will be holding this workshop in my own home. Little or no experience necessary or expected. Nothing required of you except your enthusiasm and a donation of $5.00 towards the cost of materials etc. which will be donated to ‘Escabags.’
You will be able to take your bag home with you, or if not, you can also donate it.
N.B. Tea/coffee & snacks will be provided.
TIME: 9.30am – 1pm
DATE: Thursday 1 July, 2021 (will continue on a weekly basis if popular)
WORKSHOP FACILITATOR: Jutta Stone
COST: $5 donation
